All operating Hilton Hotels in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji have undertaken a greenhouse gas emissions assessment for the period of 1st January 2007 to 31st December 2007. Currently, we are working on a carbon management plan which will help us to reduce our emissions and participate in appropriate off-set schemes. While there is currently no global sustainability rating scheme for hotels, Hilton Hotels Corporation has a global sustainability policy that sets targets, measures, benchmarks and continually improves the operation of Hilton Hotels.
